Our philosophy
Inspired by the culture of terroir in gastronomy, we set out to change the relationship we have with our skin. We wanted to make sure that every component of every Salt+Less creation was added by our own hands.
Why ? Because our skin lets in about 70 % of everything that comes to the surface, including bleaches, artificial flavors, aluminum and alumina particles, sulfates, silicones, steroids and petrochemical components used in commercial products.
That’s why we left the factory and started working with our hands. We used a mortar and pestle to create new creams, lotions and masks without any artificial additives.
You can feel, sense and even taste the difference. It has changed our relationship with our skin, and we hope it will do the same for you.

Our history
Mica, Janet and Mateo met while finishing their studies in Fine Arts. Driven by their love of craftsmanship and irrepressible attention to detail, they have collaborated on everything from public art to a five-star restaurant.
In 2016, they dove into the world of skin care. Dissatisfied with mass-produced products, they knew something had to be done. Within a year, they created Salt+Less and launched a revolutionary skin cream. They then developed their product line.
They now live in Brooklyn, where they balance their personal and professional lives while caring for their dogs.
