The HU CARE website(hu.care, this site) is hosted by Infomaniak with https certificate. It therefore offers an advanced level of security.

The data and content on the website are subject to copyright. Any external sources are always cited. The personal data of the persons registered as members belong to them.

Squarespace

It is important to know that the HU CARE website is created with Squarespace, an American company based in New York. Although their privacy policy is not alarming, we cannot guarantee that the data you provide on our site (e.g. Members’ Area) will not be used.

Threema

The social network or instant messaging application chosen for the exchanges is Threema. This choice is directly related to our desire to respect the privacy of active members of the HU CARE community.

Threema is the messaging application that offers zero knowledge security and full legal compliance. In other words, Threema Work is fully compliant with RGPD regulations. As a Swiss company, Threema is also subject to the strict Federal Data Protection Act (DPA) and the accompanying ordinance of the Federal Data Protection Act (DPA). Switzerland enjoys a high degree of legal security and, unlike US-based services, Threema is not subject to the CLOUD Act. Threema operates its own servers in a highly secure data center of an “ISO 27001” certified colocation partner in Zurich.
